Easy Cheesy Croissants

Ingredients
• 475 g Cake flour
• 25 ml Baking powder
• 2 ml Salt
• 125 g Jireh Foods salted butter (cold)
• 250 g Grated Jireh cheddar cheese
• 300-325 ml Milk
• 1 Egg yolk

Preheat the oven to 200*C, and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to a bowl and combine.
Grate the cold butter, and add to the flour mixture. Rub the butter into the flour with your fingers until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Mix the cheese into the flour mixture and then add the milk. Mix until the dough comes together.
On a clean, floured surface, flatten and roll the dough into a circular shape.
Spread your choice of filling (marmite, jam, biltong, figs, pesto etc..) on top of the dough.
Cut the dough as you would pizza slices until you have 12 triangles. Roll them up staring from the outside of the circle moving towards the middle.
Place on the prepared tray and brush with egg yolk.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
